What is an infiltration-therapy?
Infiltration-therapy is an injection that is used in order to reduce pain caused by the irritation of one or more nerve-roots or facet joints. A locally pain-reducing and anti-inflammatory agent is injected under the guidance of computer tomography. In our clinic this is performed as a minimal-invasive therapy. Thus the corresponding amount of the medicine is administered directly at the origin of the pain, which of course optimizes the efficiency of the treatment.
